Create a new training Coach: Conversation-first, coaching-style training

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Designing your custom AI Coach in Trenaro is a guided, step-by-step process that helps you define what your coach will teach, who it’s for, and how it will deliver content. Follow the steps below to create a personalized and effective learning experience.

Initial Content

Start by providing the knowledge base for your coach. You can do this by:

  • Writing a detailed prompt that describes the topics, goals, and approach.

  • Uploading documents (such as guides, presentations, or reference materials).

  • Or using both methods together for more context.

This information helps Trenaro understand what your Coach will be about and ensures accurate, high-quality content generation.

Audience

Select your target audience from a list of predefined learner groups. This ensures your Coach tailors explanations, examples, and tone to the right learning level and context.

Audience Purposes

Define the learning goals for the selected audience. These goals guide how the Coach structures its lessons and responses.
You can specify multiple purposes to align your Coach with different learner needs.

Depth

Choose the level of detail and complexity you want your Coach to provide:

  • High-Level Introduction: Suitable for beginners or quick overviews.

  • Balanced Approach: Ideal for general learners who need both breadth and depth.

  • In-Depth Level: Best for advanced learners who require comprehensive explanations and insights.

Learning Points

Based on your selected audience and purposes, Trenaro will generate a list of key learning objectives (Learning Points).

You can:

  • Review each learning point in detail.

  • Regenerate any point to adjust its depth or focus.

This ensures your Coach delivers precisely the right level of instruction and clarity.

Coach settings

Personalize your Coach by adjusting its teaching style, tone, and language preferences to match your training objectives.

General Settings

Configure the coach’s name, tone of voice, teaching style, and language preferences along with the coach's description.

Instructor Settings

Configure the instructor for your Coach. You can choose between Video avatar, Photo avatar, or No avatar-voice only.

Distribution Settings

Specify where your coach will be visible when published. Select which teams and categories can access this course when published. Find more on coach distribution here.

Review and Save

Once you’ve completed all the steps, you can review your Coach and save it.
You can revisit the Coach Settings at any time to make changes or refinements as needed.

Before publishing your Coach, you can also preview your Coach to experience how it will appear and perform for learners — ensuring everything looks and sounds exactly as intended.
