Make Your Course Accessible to Learners

Publishing a Course

Publishing your course (as an admin or creator) in Trenaro makes it available to the learners, teams, or categories you’ve selected.

Once published, a course moves from unpublished mode into a live, accessible state where learners can enroll, track their progress, and complete assessments. You can always return to the Course Settings to update distribution, adjust categories, or refine access controls.

Publishing is the final step in the creation process and ensures your training content is delivered to the right audience at the right time.

You can publish a course from within the Create & Manage section and the Course Main Menu:

or from the Session Editor:

Once you select to publish a Course, you will also publish the sessions that are included in the specific Course.

You will need to select who will be able to access the specific Course, along with where your Course will be visible when published.

You will also see an approximate amount of credits that will be required for the Publication of the Course.

Once you select 'Publish', a progress window will appear showing the status of the publication process and the estimated time to completion. You can safely close this window, as you will also receive an email notification as soon as the publication is complete.

Publication Versions

You can choose to play a publication from a specific published version, allowing you to view or test exactly how that version appears to learners. This is useful for reviewing updates, comparing changes between versions, or ensuring that the correct content has been published before sharing it with your audience.
